About Us
Julie Key McKay has been working as a private practice physical therapist for 20 years, the last two years of which has been as the sole owner of her present PT clinic. Julie has worked with a wide age range of patients from 2 weeks old to the oldest patient being 104 years old! She has worked in therapy in the following settings including schools, home health, outpatient orthopedic centers, rehab centers, as well as, extended care facilities.
Julie graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1990. She has served as a clinical instructor for PT students from the University of Kentucky, as well as, the College of Mount St. Joseph’s. Julie was named 2007 Preceptor of the year by Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center.
Julie has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1990. She is also a member of the Kentucky chapter of the APTA since graduation.
